Easter is the most important religious holiday in Moldova. The holiday of Christianity and Jesus’ Resurrection has a wealth of customs and traditions, the red eggs and the Easter cake being the most known. It is one of the holidays that unites us and reminds us how important it is to have our loved ones nearby and take advantage of any moment to be together. People greet each other saying "Christ is Risen!" instead of “Hello” and the response is "Truly, He is Risen".
